Austin Kiddie Limits Preview: Q Brothers

The artists who will be performing at ACL Music Festival’s family-friendly area, better known as Austin Kiddie Limits, are from all over the country and play all kinds of music. You can expect hip-hop, kindie, sing-a-longs, silly and educational. We will be doing a preview of all of the performers that will be at Austin Kiddie Limits, AND we will have some merch to giveaway as well, just in case you can’t make it to the fest.

The Q Brothers will hit the kiddie stage both Sundays of ACL, so you'll get a few chances to catch their fun and funky act. The brothers (GQ and JQ), who are, yes, really brothers, are men of many talents – they act, they write, they rap. They've been featured on everything from Off-Broadway shows to MTV and network programs to the silver screen.

One of their cooler tricks is re-writing Shakespeare plays into hip hop musical "add-RAP-tations." They've put their own spin on Othello and Romeo and Juliet, to name a few. They've also recently put out The Feel Good Album of the Year. Find out if it really is and check out their website for some free downloads and to watch videos of their work if you need some convincing.
